Delta74 actually started out as a military gear cleaning facility in 2019 in Fort Stewart, Georgia. Things were going great until the majority of the service members were transitioned to Europe during the Ukraine crisis. We were left with a few tractors and trailers and didn’t know what to do with them as we no longer had the military gear to transport them. One of our customers saw that we were preparing our business to close and suggested we get into logistics, thus Delta74 Logistics was born, from its original name of Delta74 Tactical Support Systems. We had no idea where to start at first but quickly became aligned with our now focal point, FedEx Ground Contracting.
Our owner started as a line haul driver for a FedEx Ground Contractor and did so for a couple months until he decided to embark on the FedEx experience with Delta74. Three years later, Delta74 has footprints (and tire treads) in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and now headquarters, Texas.
Delta74 Logistics supports FedEx Ground systems through local spot work, interstate/intrastate line haul movements, and our favorite, cross-country team operations. We find that our swift yet strategic growth was due in part to knowing what drivers want because we are drivers.
